| Furukawa to Launch Micronized Coffee Mill | |
| Tokyo, Sept 25, 2006 (JCN) - Furukawa Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Corso Idea and Unicafe Inc., today announced its launch of Micron Coffee, a coffee mill that utilizes dream mill technology for producing finely ground coffee beans. The micronization process prevents the beans from losing their flavor as a result of heat denaturation. The three companies have succeeded in making smooth surfaced coffee beans and have already filed a patent application for their technology. Going forward, Micron Coffee will be on display at Health Ingredients Japan 2006 on October 4 and also at the Powder Technology Exhibition on November 7.
